In the latest issue of Weekly Jump, it was officially announced the new title of One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game will be available in Japan from August 24 in retail and digital format, sold at 4,800 yen.
Bandai Namco has recently announced the release of One Piece Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition: this is the remastered version for next-generation consoles of the eponymous title, embellished with enhanced graphics and all the available post launch content in a unique edition.
The announcement comes, as usual, from the pages of Japanese magazine Weekly Shonen Jump, for which we have included a scan followed by further information about the game inspired by the epic Monkey D. Luffy.
One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition is the updated version of One Piece Unlimited World Red, title released on PlayStation 3, Wii U, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS. This new edition includes all previously distributed content via DLC and support for the local co-op with two players.
The title tells an original story with “filler” items, where the Pirates of the Straw Hat face the threat of powerful and evil Red, that will force them to re-examine old enemies of their past.
At the moment, Bandai Namco has not announced anything about the arrival of the game in the West, in March, however, the publisher has registered the trademark Unlimited World in Europe, which could then be linked to this project. We look forward to confirmation or denial from the studio.
