Koei Tecmo announced an open beta of Nioh 2 for PS4 players during the “Nioh 2 Eternal World Stage” panel of the Tokyo Game Show 2019.

The news has come directly from the official Twitter account of PlayStation, in which not many details have been offered about this sequel of Team Ninja, or about the open beta, but it has served to notify players who are interested in it.

The beta will be available for free to all players via PlayStation Store and will be available from Friday November 1st until Sunday November 10th. It is, therefore, an excellent opportunity to try the new highly anticipated Souls-like title of Team Ninja before it releases in stores.

During the panel, Koei Tecmo also presented new gameplay of the game that you can view in the video below (Three-Player Multiplayer gameplay from 12:31 to 28:03 minutes and Honnouji Stage Super Play gameplay from 32:10 to 42:58).

Nioh 2 was announced during the Sony conference in the past E3 2018. This sequel is expected to depart directly from the events of the first Nioh, which was released on February 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PC.

Nioh 2 will release on PS4 during the first months of 2020. Will you participate in this open beta? Tell us in the comments below.
