Nintendo Switch surpasses 4.7 million units shipped

Nintendo revealed its financial results for the first quarter of the current fiscal year. Therefore, we know that Switch already has 4.7 million units sold and Nintendo 3DS with 67.08 million pieces displaced.
Thus, Nintendo Switch managed to sell 1.97 million units during the quarter that began on April 1 and ended on June 30. In addition, the software for this platform had 8.14 million pieces distributed.
This means that, in total, Nintendo Switch has sold 4.70 million pieces between its launch and June 30, 2017. For its part, the software has distributed 13.60 million units at the same time.
The company also revealed that last quarter 0.95 million Nintendo 3DS consoles were displaced, while portable software reached 12.74 million units sold. In total, Nintendo 3DS has 67.08 million pieces distributed and 335.10 million games sold.
Nintendo maintains its initial sales predictions, so it is expected to sell 12.74 million consoles by March 31, 2018. It should be noted that Nintendo Switch has shortages in some markets, so the company should expand its production to improve its numbers.
