Nintendo Switch Spyro Themed Controller Revealed

If you’re still a fan of batteries, the new PowerA Nintendo Switch controller could thrill the Spyro fan in you.

For those who are not fond of Joy-Con, the Nintendo Switch can still have fun with conventional controllers, whether the manufacturer’s Pro Controller or third-party products. One of the most prolific is PowerA, which already offers a wide range of controllers with the image of Mario, Metroid and other flagship licenses of its kind.

The company does not intend to stop there, and prepares a new controller for the arrival of Spyro Reignited Trilogy on Nintendo Switch on September 3rd. It has just been unveiled and pictured, and it is likely to please fans. The purple buttons and purple color at the back reminiscent of the skin of the little dragon, and especially presence of a beautiful drawing of Spyro and other key characters of the license on the left of the front of the controller, is pleasing to the eye.

The controller is Bluetooth and NFC compatible, so it can detect the amiibo controllers, but unfortunately, it works on AA batteries and not with a battery to charge by USB. This could still appeal to some players, who can pre-order it for $49.99, with a release scheduled for August 31 in the United States.

Recently, a Neon Green colored Joy-Con of Nintendo Switch was also revealed with its release date.
