Nintendo Switch Mini Leaked By A Chinese Company

0

Rumors of new Nintendo Switch models have been circulating since last fall, when a report by the Wall Street Journal reported the existence, in the Kyoto company plans, of proposing two new versions of the hybrid console. One of these would have been a “lite” version, less expensive, smaller and perhaps only portable. The president of Nintendo, before E3 2019, had declared that there would be no announcements of any kind on alternative models of Nintendo Switch during the Los Angeles festival: so it was.

Now, however, let’s talk about it again, as a Chinese company, HonSon Group, has started promoting accessories for “Nintendo Switch Mini”: we are referring to cases, protective cases and screen films. You can already order them online, as you can see in the image at the top of this news.

Obviously, it is more than possible that these are fake products (Nintendo Switch Mini images used on the site are mock-ups created by fans) but it is strange that a company produces accessories (or even promotes them) for a product that does not exist and of which we do not know much details. Unfortunately, the products have no indication on the measurements, so we can’t even speculate on the size of the potential new Nintendo console.

The rumors wanted to release Nintendo Switch Mini during this month, but since there are twelve days left and no official information has been released, it seems unlikely to say the least. What do you think about it? Would you be interested in a lite version of the Nintendo console, or is the standard version more than sufficient?
