Nintendo has reconfirmed plans to launch NX, its next video game system in March 2017 globally through its annual report 2016. Furthermore, it is confirmed that the platform of quality of life goes on and arrives, expected more late.
In this report, reviewing financial results for the fiscal year ended for the company in March 2016, Nintendo confirms that “Nintendo is also devoted to the development of a gaming platform codenamed “NX” with a brand-new concept, which will be launched in March 2017 globally.”
Nintendo had already said in the past that NX has a differential thought and that it has not submitted the console to keep it a secret.
The project, which was born under the umbrella of the late President of Nintendo Satoru Iwata, from the platform of quality of life goes on and is officially referred to by the company in many months.
Earlier this year we learned that progress on this front was stopped, but months later aspects of the overall objectives of Nintendo were recognized as redifined and health devices as a focus of interest.
Yesterday, in fact, it was told that NX could use biometric sensors of the Taiwanese company of Pixart Imaging, but to continue the project quality of life could involve more use in devices linked to it or these, somehow, they will be used by the NX itself.
In any case, the financial report states that “moreover, Nintendo is working on the development of a new product that improves people’s QOL (Quality of Life) in enjoyable ways. Nintendo’s aim is to enable consumers to make daily efforts to improve their QOL in a fun manner by making sleep and fatigue status visible and offering various services based on this information.”
