Gust has announced that Nights of Azure 2 Bride of the New Moon will not come out in Japan in February as originally planned, the game was postponed and is now expected for a generic 2017.
Gust sadly announces a further delay in the release of its Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon, the second game of the saga of Yoru no Nai Kuni, originally planned in Japan for the upcoming February. The launch window is unfortunately postponed to a general 2017, with no further details.
This is the second postponement for Nights of Azure 2, the launch was initially scheduled for 22 December 2016 but the team was forced to postpone the release to improve the quality of the product. The developers have apologized for this new delay, but the extra time will allow some of the best improved gameplay mechanics and generally refine many aspects of the project.
The producer Keisuke Kikuchi has come to this conclusion after testing all the improvements already made to the depth of the story and balance the action, but it still needs much work before the software quality can be acceptable by the users.
Nights of Azure 2 will be released on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, the launch in the West has been confirmed but currently any launch window is not announced.
