Nielsen: Call of Duty WWII is the most anticipated game of Holiday 2017

The holiday season marks the most important point of sales for consoles and video games, which is why titles that will come out in this month and November that will try to take advantage of the increase in consumption and be present in most homes in the coming months.
In relation to that, the analyst firm Nielsen Media Research published its annual report with the most anticipated games of the most important commercial season and here are the results.
Nielsen’s Most Anticipated Holyday Games 2017 report reflects players’ preference based on a sample of 6000 users who were questioned about the games they expected the most for the holiday season.
The survey was carried out from August 21 to September 23 and in the first place was considered the games that obtained a level of expectation between 90 and 100%. In this way, in a matter of cross-platform games, Nielsen’s report indicates that the most anticipated game by the fans is as follows:
1. Call of Duty: WWII
2. Assassin’s Creed: Origins
3. Star Wars: Battlefront II
4. WWE 2K18
In specific sectors, the Nielsen report indicates that the most anticipated game by the owners of Xbox One is Forza Motorsport 7, which has been available since October 3. On the other hand, the users of PlayStation 4 considered that the game that was most anticipated for this holiday season is Gran Turismo Sport, that will debut on 17th October. As for PC users, they expect Age of Empires: Definitive Edition, Fallout 4 VR, and LA Noire: The VR Case Files.
Nintendo fans are also present in the Nielsen report and for them, the most anticipated Nintendo Switch game for the holiday season is Super Mario Odyssey, which will arrive on October 27th. Finally, regarding Nintendo 3DS, users said that the most hope for this season games is Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions, which is available from 6 October, and Mario Party: The Top 100.
