Rumor: Next Nintendo Direct Scheduled for January 11, 2018

Some time ago information was leaked that ensured a new Nintendo Direct will be carried out sometime in January. Now, new rumors seem to indicate that the digital event will be held at the end of next week.
John Harker, the insider who leaked correct information about Call of Duty: WWII, mentioned at ResetEra that the next Nintendo Direct is scheduled to be held on January 11; that is, on Thursday of next week. It is important to note that the forum member mentioned that it takes time for vacations, so he does not know if this date would be changed.
In the same forum, Emily Rogers, the insider who leaked information about Paper Mario: Color Splash, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle and Switch’s revelation, mentioned that his sources told him that Direct will be held on January 11. That said, he did not disclose more information about it.
It is important to mention that, although it is insiders who have leaked correct information in the past, the reality is that Nintendo has not yet commented on a Direct for January. So, before you get excited, we recommend you take this information with a grain of salt and wait for the company to make an official announcement about it.
As we already mentioned, an Electronic Arts email was leaked some time ago, mentioning that there will be a Nintendo Direct this month. These rumors were strengthened after a popular online store published product pages of 18 mysterious titles for Nintendo Switch.
