New Xbox One and Windows 10 update brings interactive livestreaming service Beam today
Microsoft has officially announced that the new update for Xbox One and Windows 10 is now ready to be downloaded and installed by players and also noted that thanks to this update now comes the livestreaming service of Beam.
Beam is a live streaming service that was acquired by Microsoft along with the name last year, by an unknown number. That’s why, starting today, you can stream your gameplay through the Beam app. In the image above you will see how the new feature looks in the specific case of Xbox One.
New features make it easier to access to the clubs, and message to gamehub. Even the guide, which appears on the left side, undergoes a series of changes designed to simplify the user’s navigation. The recently used games will always be visible and directly from the Guide you can control the music playback, lower or raise the volume and also change the audio track.
In the case of Windows 10, users will have to wait a little longer, as the Beam feature will be available on that platform until the next month of April 11. It should be noted that these features have been available for a while for testers of Xbox Insider Program.
One of the Xbox directors, Chad Gibson, recently discussed the benefits of Beam, and stated that it is a unique live streaming system that “blur[s] the lines between the playing and watching experience.”
