Capcom will test a new Resident Evil game in September, which suggests that this project could be announced during Gamescom 2019, from 20 to 24 August. First, a test was confirmed in Japan, and now an e-mail indicates that it will also arrive in the United States.

The company has sent a message to the members of the RE Ambassador to participate in the test. “Today, we are reaching out to recruit potential testers from our loyal RE Ambassador community to try out a new game in early development. We’d love to get your feedback, so please take a look at the info below and apply if you are interested in participating,” can be read from the email sent out to the testers. So, the tests will be held in Los Angeles and New York, between September 20 and 24. Among the requirements to qualify for the tests, in addition to being part of the Ambassador program, it is requested to have played the survival horror game.

This type of mail is similar to the Japanese one, except that in Japan the tests will begin on September 8 and 9. It is possible that to avoid leaks Capcom might officially reveal the game before these dates.

There are no more details about the title, although it seems clear that it is not a title known as the next versions of Resident Evil 5 or 6 for Nintendo Switch, but something new or the rumored Resident Evil 3 Remake, or perhaps, Resident Evil 8.
