New Guilty Gear Game Coming in 2020

The studio of Arc System Works has confirmed a new installment of the Guilty Gear saga scheduled for 2020. The announcement was made within the framework of EVO 2019, the most important fighting game tournament on the planet held from August 2 to 4 in the Mandalay Bay Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas (Nevada).
The Japanese company has taken the opportunity to address its fans and make clear the message that the saga is more alive than ever; They still have a lot to offer with this intellectual property. We already have its first teaser trailer with a confrontation between Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske.
The latest installments are Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR-, whose original release dates back to 2015 and 2016; and Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, a couple of years before also available in the present generation of consoles.
The studio has not stopped working on new projects since then. As of 2016, they have not only submerged in a rhythm of annual releases (with even self-publishing of some projects like Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap) but more than one game in the same year. In 2018, the names of Dragon Ball FighterZ and BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle stand out. This past May, the original game and possibly one of the best installments of the entire series was published on Nintendo Switch with Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary.
Hopefully we will know more about this new installment of Guilty Gear in the next dates, as the announcement of the development of this new title was announced at EVO 2018, when the company’s general director, Minoru Kidooka, took the stage to address directly to the fans.
