Only a few months for debut of Battlefield 1 is remaining, so, Electronic Arts and DICE decided to launch a new video that focuses on the weapons that we will see in the game.
As you know, Battlefield 1 will be located in the First World War, so, players will have the opportunity to try totally different sets of weapons that were available in Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline.
In the video, the studio discusses the importance of weapons and how they managed to design them, looking to stick as closely as possible the feeling of being in the First World War. “It’s a totally different experience,” said Lars Gustavsson, DICE creative director. “It’s much more personal.”
“The weapons that you will use in Battlefield 1 were, at the time, the summit of engineering, and inspired much of the powerful weapons used in modern warfare,” said DICE. “Even so, only by looking up like you will certainly notice the difference between the guns in games like Battlefield 4 that you’ll use in Battlefield 1.
Previously, Julian Schimek, designer of weapons of Battlefield 1 explained that “most weapons will allow you to equip bayonets or alter their handling, as well as changing your weapons sights’ magnification. We also have amazing weapon skins, which we’ll talk more about in the coming months.”
