Through an entry in the PlayStation Blog, Alex Monney, director of communications at Perfect World Entertainment, made public the launch window of Neverwinter for PlayStation 4. According to the official announcement, Neverwinter will be available on the Sony console before the end of the summer.
Neverwinter is a MMORPG free-to-play game that takes players to the Forgotten Realms, where you will find an experience based on Dungeons & Dragons. So that, you will face sinister enemies such as Tiamat, Demogorgon, Orcus, Valindra and more in locations like Icewind Dale and Underdark.
The member of Perfect World Entertainment said that when it debuts the version for PlayStation 4, it will have all the existing content for the game of other platforms, including its 9 expansions which have “hundreds of quests”.
As mentioned before, Neverwinter is a free-to-play game, so you will not need a PlayStation Plus membership to enjoy it. Neverwinter debuted on PC in mid-2013 and last year it became the first MMORPG to reach Xbox One.
PS4 continues to expand its free catalog, this time Neverwinter gets finally announced for the console. Through a video uploaded to its official YouTube channel also, it has confirmed the release of the game on the platform.
