Need for Speed 2017 first screenshot revealed; game will release in 2017
Electronic Arts and Ghost Games have today released the first image of the next installment in the Need for Speed series, confirming that it will come out in 2017.
Need for Speed 2017 is a video game from the Ghost Games studios, that was originally called as the NFS which made the series famous. After several years without new projects for the franchise, it is between 2017 and 2018 that a new title should be released.
No official release date is known. Moreover, the name Need For Speed 2017 is only temporary and it is not excluded, according to the developers, that the game could be postponed to 2018.
Currently under development at Ghost Games, the next installment of the Need for Speed saga is now delivering additional information about its content and ambitions.
As revealed by publisher and developer, customization will “play as strong a role as ever” in the new Need for Speed title and there will be also chases based on police and an explorable world in full freedom.
Based on the feedback that came following the launch of Need for Speed 2015, furthermore, Ghost Games has eliminated the requirement of permanent connection to the network, allowing, among other things, to pause the game.
More details will arrive during EA Play, which will be held between 10 and 12 June to coincide with the E3 2017. The title is promised to be released in this spring on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, as well as the new game of BioWare.
