Through its Twitter account, the developer Ed Boon said the studio will reveal more details on the forthcoming October 3, that is, one day before releasing the update.

The original release of Mortal Kombat had many problems on PC and, for some time, Netherrealm gave the impression of having abandoned this release.

Surprisingly, the studio announced a few weeks ago that it would improve and support the game that would eventually lead MKXL to PC, promise to be fulfilled on October 4.

Recently, Warner Bros. has also unveiled Steam prices of Mortal Kombat XL, which is scheduled for release this October 4.

The fighting game developed by Netherrealm studio will cost $39.99, but users who had already purchased Mortal Kombat X will buy the new content at $24.99. In the case of opting for the Kombat Pack 2, the price to pay will be $19.99.

To encourage users the American company held a promotion during the week of release, for which users of Mortal Kombat X will be able to gain Mortal Kombat with XL for only $12.49, while the Kombat Pack 2 will recess to $9.99.

Remember that Mortal Kombat XL is already available on Xbox One and PS4.
