Mortal Kombat 11 Will Run at 60 FPS on Nintendo Switch, Ed Boon Confirms
Since Mortal Kombat 11 was announced for Nintendo Switch, 2 huge questions arose: how will it run and how good will it look? Although we still do not know the answer to the first question, we already know the frame rate that this version will present.
In a recent talk with GameInformer, Ed Boon, director of this release, confirmed that Mortal Kombat 11 will run at 60 fps. In other words, it will have the same frame rate as the versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
As we told you some time ago, for the game to run at 60 frames per second some visual sacrifices had to be made. That is to say, some geometric reductions had to be made so that everything runs as it should. That said, fans should not worry, since Boon says that this version looks “great”.
We believe that you will be interested to know that the feminine outfits of this game will be a little more reserved. To finish, we tell you that it was recently revealed that Mortal Kombat X sold more than 11 million copies. So, the latest installment of the series has a real challenge to overcome its predecessor.
Mortal Kombat 11 will release on April 23 to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Now that you know the frame rate of this game for Nintendo Switch, tell us, will you buy this version on Nintendo Switch or would you prefer to play it on another console? Tell us in the comments below.
