Capcom points out that Iceborne, the rich expansion of Monster Hunter World, will rival the breadth of the base game.

Capcom has confirmed that Iceborne, the expansion of Monster Hunter World scheduled for the beginning of September on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, will have a size similar to that of the main game.

To make it known was a representative of the PR section of Capcom, through a new post shared on Twitter. “Excited to confirm the size of new content in Monster Hunter Iceborne will rival the original release! That’s one BIG expansion for all you hunters!”, can be read from the post.

As we already know, Iceborne will be set after the Monster Hunter World events and will present a completely new story. The package will also introduce the new region of Hoarfrost Reach, which will be the largest area available in the game. The snowy terrain offers an ecosystem that is very different from that of the main game and progressively expands with the development of the story.

The expansion Iceborne seems to focus on a well-kept setting and an even more dynamic and fun gameplay. We only admit to having some doubts about the monsters: the ones that were shown us are fascinating, but they look a little too much like the creatures we have already hunted for hundreds of hours. We only hope that Capcom has several surprises in store for E3 2019 scheduled in June.

The release date for Monster Hunter World Iceborne is set for September 6 for a price of $39.99. Monster Hunter World is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
