Monolith Soft Hiring Developers for New Legend of Zelda Game

0 312

Monolith Soft (studio author of Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2) has announced that it is looking for new professional figures to be included in the team that will take care of a game of The Legend of Zelda series.

The Japanese team is looking for programmers, artists, designers and project managers to “follow the work on The Legend of Zelda series,” an important indication as Monolith has collaborated in the past to develop the acclaimed game of Breath of the Wild, released in 2017 on Wii U and Nintendo Switch.

Could it be possible that Monolith is working on The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2? In any case, it seems certain that the team has been called upon to support Nintendo’s team in developing the next “regular” game on the Link saga, and many rumors already suggesting the ongoing processing phase with release scheduled for 2021/2022.

The job announcement from Monolith does not seem to be referring to The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening, a remake of the eponymous title released in 1993 on the Game Boy, coming to Switch at the end of the year and now in an advanced stage of development. We just have to wait to learn more about the new Zelda for Switch.

Are you patiently waiting to get your hands on the new Zelda game? Tell us in the comments below.
