“Firstly, I would like to say again how sincerely sorry we are for how long we have kept all of our fans waiting,” says Keiji Inafune on the game’s official website. “We understand that as a result of the various delays we have disappointed and let down our fans, but we are happy to finally be able to deliver the game to everyone who brought us this far.”

Moreover, it was revealed that the versions for PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS will not be released simultaneously with editions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

First, Mighty No. 9 had arrival scheduled for September 2015. Then it was postponed to February 9 and since then, we were in the dark about the game situation.

Maintaining the essence that made Mega Man successful on consoles, Mighty No. 9 will target the most nostalgic and the public fond of platforms. The project thanks to financial contributions through Kickstarter was financed in September 2015 and Keiji Inafune and his team have spent several years immersed in the development of Mighty No. 9, and it seems that the project is finally set to release, after a somewhat circuitous development.
