Today, a new trailer and several gameplay videos were released for Far Cry 5. In addition, the question was answered, whether we will see loot boxes and microtransactions in the upcoming open-world shooter.

Today, an embargo on Far Cry 5 was uplifted, which means that now you can see new videos published for the title by various media. Among other things, Ubisoft has also released a new trailer that goes by the name “The Resistance”.

The new trailer is illustrated in an action-rich way, showing us how to fight against the sect. You can find the new trailer and gameplay videos at the end of this article.

Elsewhere it was confirmed that Far Cry 5 will not have any loot boxes, but microtransactions are not fundamentally excluded: “There are no Lootboxes, but since we’re still working on the game for a few more months, I can not say exactly what’s going to happen. But I know for sure that our philosophy is not to influence the progress of the game in any way, when it comes to getting items or weapons,” Jean-Sebastien Decant, the Narrative Director of the title said in an interview to the GamePro site.

Far Cry 5 will be released on March 27, 2018, for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
