Microsoft Reportedly Wanted To Bring Halo on PS4
Apparently, in fact, Microsoft would have seriously thought of bringing one of its flagship sagas on PlayStation 4, the direct competitor of the Xbox One console. The title in question, among other things, is also one of the most iconic of the entire Microsoft team. We are indeed talking about Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
But where does this indiscretion come from, as clamorous as it is on paper that is decidedly implausible? To be the source of this possible arrival of the Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PS4 is a former journalist from IGN PlayStation, Colin Moriarty. Moriarty in particular also stated that he learned of it from very reliable voices.
This hypothesis is therefore apparently discussed at length by Microsoft executives. A long decision-making process that, given the current situation, has led to a stalemate. Is there still time to see Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PS4?
Moriarty has also added to the dose, stating that he would not be surprised to see titles developed directly from Xbox Game Studios on Sony consoles over the next few years. The Microsoft gaming policy for him is indeed definitely now based on software/services and is not about hardware. The lower revenues lost from console sales will, therefore, be amply repaid according to Moriarty from those recorded by the various titles. A policy that, put on this level, would definitely make sense.
