Microsoft could show Project Scorpio before E3 2017
Recently, Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, hinted that there is a chance to know Porject Scorpio before E3 2017, considering that it would be a good idea to perform a focused event on hardware and another one dedicated to the software that the company prepares.
During a talk with IGN, Spencer commented that they still do not have a fully established plan, and that it would be very difficult to show everything they have prepared at their press conference at E3 2017. He made it clear that we will see Project Scorpio at E3, but prefers that the event focuses on games instead of engaging hardware.
“I like our E3 show being about games,” Specenr said. “Cleary we’re gonna talk about Scorpio at E3, but I also don’t want to take up the majority of the time doing all things about hardware. So there’s a balance there. I want it on stage. It’s a great opportunity for us.”
Faced with this situation, Spencer promised that fans will get more information as soon as they have a definite plan. “I know people want to know more specifically about what we’re doing with the hardware and I’d love to find an opportunity to do that,” he said.
For now, the only certainty is that Microsoft will advance its press conference in E3 2017, instead of being held on Mondays as the tradition, it will now be on Sunday June 11.
