Codemasters will rescue the saga of Micro Machines on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, according to a leak revealed on Xbox Achievements, describing Micro Machines World Series as an enhanced version of Micro Machines that was released last summer on iOS and Android, under the model of free-to-play.

It’s being a long time since Micro Machines has shown up anything in the world of gaming consoles, beyond a recent Mobile chapter, so that its return would be particularly expected.  According to rumors published by Xbox Achievements, Codemasters would be currently working on Micro Machines World Series, title in development for the Xbox One, Windows PC and PlayStation 4.

Note that, there are not much details given about the game, which could be the console version of Micro Machines, free-to-play title published last summer on smartphones, so everyone should therefore take this news as a mere rumor.

Micro Machines on smartphone offers ten different tracks that mimic the usual worlds of toy of the saga. The game has 60 different cars of all types and A system of attacks and combat designed based on the well-known brand of NERF toys.
