Mass Effect: Andromeda is still without a release date, but as you will recall, a few weeks ago the publisher Dark Horse has anticipated the possible launch date of the game, apparently scheduled for 21 March 2017. A new confirmation comes today from Amazon USA.
The well-known retailer reports a placeholder date (29 December 2017) on the page of the game, however, it has been updated with the image of the art for digital download on Xbox One, which says “playable from March 21, 2017”, as you can see in the image attached to the tweet shared by insider Wario 64 at the end of this article.
However, if we compare this information with another old track revealed in the arts book of Mass Effect Andromeda, the date “21 March” seems to be more official than you think. According to the product description also in the Amazon site, the Dark Horse publisher promised to release the book on March 21, 2017, “simultaneously with the game” – the text has now been changed.
It is also worth remembering that 21 March 2017 will fall on a Tuesday, the day of the week that most companies launches its games.
We will just have to wait to find out more details about this leak, as Electronic Arts currently has merely confirmed that Mass Effect: Andromeda will be released during the spring of 2017, but did not provide further details about the actual release of this new title.
