Marvel’s Spider-Man Director Talks About the Future of The Series

Since Marvel’s Spider-Man has been a success in its first weeks on the market, many believe it’s a matter of waiting for a sequel to be confirmed. That is why IGN did not miss the opportunity to ask Bryan Intihar, creative director of the project, about what the future holds for this character in video games.

“Nothing to announce [regarding a sequel] but we obviously want to keep you engaged in our Spider-Man universe. That’s why we said right off the bat you’re going to have three drops of DLC. It’s not just activities in the city, this is a full story. You’re going to be able to get a pretty chunky, new experience,” he said.

Later, Intihar noted that the DLC for Marvel’s Spider-Man will also offer some surprises: “You’re going to see some twists and turns you might not expect with Spider-Man and Black Cat. And then that will set up the other two that will be released before the end of the year.”

Finally, Intihar made it clear that Insomniac Games is currently focused on finishing the New Game Plus of Marvel’s Spider-Man. Unfortunately, he could not reveal when it will arrive, so we have to be patient to get more information about it.

The game is available exclusively for PlayStation 4.
