Marvel’s Avengers First Gameplay At SDCC Will Be shown in Private
The revelation of Marvel’s Avengers in E3 2019 represented a bittersweet taste for those waiting for the game of Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics and the first official trailer left many doubts and endless criticism. This experience seems to have left a lesson to Square Enix and there is information that indicates that the gameplay that is scheduled for San Diego Comic-Con 2019 will only be shown only in private.
Today, according to information, a statement was sent by Square Enix around the presentation of Marvel’s Avengers in SDCC 2019, an event that will take place from July 18 to 21 in California, United States. According to the information, the document emphasizes the presence of Shaun Escayg, creative director of Crystal Dynamics and the actors who play the characters, who will reveal the first gameplay of Marvel’s Avengers, but, it is indicated that this “will only happen for the assistants to Hall H” of the enclosure where the convention will take place.
How has this been interpreted? According to the report, it can be taken as a kind of prevention that Square Enix would be taking to avoid polemics with the game after the reception it had in E3 2019.
Likewise, it is pointed out that, in case the Japanese company has decided that the Marvel’s Avengers gameplay will not be made public, at least not immediately, there would be possibilities that the attendees cannot speak or write about it until a date indicated in an embargo.
Thus, Marvel’s Avengers first gameplay trailer will be shown during its presentation at the Marvel Games Panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 on July 18 at 1:30 p.m. PT/4:30 p.m. ET.
Recall that Marvel’s Avengers will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google STADIA on May 15, 2020.
