Marvel’s Avengers Will See “Changes From Characters To Everything”

After Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics revealed the first trailer for Marvel’s Avengers as part of the E3 2019, many fans of the brand were disappointed with the character models of the superheroes. The characters were not modeled after their role models from the movies, but rather resemble their comic templates.

In an interview with PCGamesN, Casey Lynch, Avengers editorial director, has emphasized that “everything about the game is going to continue to change as we polish, as we approach launch right now. But things that we’ve shown both at E3 and here, it’s all been pre-alpha. There’ll be changes to everything from the characters to a lot of what you see.”

A company spokesperson for Square Enix replied that all they talk about is fine-tuning. They will add more details about the character models, improve the lighting and also improve the skin shading. For this reason, it is hoped that the characters will look better, the closer you get to its launch. However, they are not planning to change the character designs.

So it’s interesting to see what kind of development Marvel’s Avengers will make in the coming months. Finally, Marvel’s Avengers will release on May 15, 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
