Through a press release, Capcom announced that Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite already has a release date. According to the official announcement, this title will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC from September 19.

Of course this is not the whole news, as Capcom took the opportunity to share new details about this release. Among what stands out is that Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite will feature a story mode in which heroes and villains will have to unite to save their worlds from a new threat: Ultron Sigma. As its name implies, it is a powerful combination of Ultron of the Marvel Universe and Sigma of Mega Man X.

On the other hand, Capcom confirmed that yesterday’s rumors were real, so the Marvel v. Capcom: Infinite will feature characters like Ultron, Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye, Rocket Raccoon, Chun-Li, Strider Hiryu and Chris Redfield. Keep in mind that each character in this title will have special abilities with 2 iconic moves.

“In addition to the compelling cinematic story experience, single player Arcade, Training and Mission modes and vast multiplayer offerings will provide memorable experiences and infinite gameplay possibilities for players of all skill levels. More characters, stages, game features and story mode details will be revealed in the coming months,” Capcom said in the statement.
