Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite Is Now Part of Xbox Play Anywhere
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite debuted in September of last year. Now, 5 months later, the title was added to the Xbox Play Anywhere program.
In the same way that happened with Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, those who acquire a digital copy of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite for Xbox One will receive the free version for Windows 10 or vice versa.
On the other hand, those who are already possessors of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite for Xbox One or Windows 10 will receive the copy of the other platform without needing to buy it again. Remember that this program only works with digital formats, so you cannot do anything if you have the physical version of the game.
In related information sales of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite proved disappointing for the company. Capcom noted that the title only sold 1 million copies since its debut in September, which clearly is a failure compared to the franchise and the Marvel brand, which these days are extremely popular. The truth is that the fans did not agree with the game, from the look of the characters to the DLC content.
But this is not the only setback of the fighting title since Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will not be part of EVO 2018. The competition will feature Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, TEKKEN 7, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, Injustice 2 and Dragon Ball FighterZ.
