As you know by now, during the PlayStation Experience 2016 Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite was announced, the new crossover brawler chapter of the saga. After releasing its teaser trailer, now Capcom provides the first details on the gameplay trailer and the game mode of the title.
The game features a very classic package of the content first, including the story mode, single player arcade and workout. In addition to this, it was confirmed the return of 2v2 team match. Players can choose one of the six Infinity Gems, in the universe of Marvel, to affect the outcome of the battles.
Each gem will produce different effects depending on which character you are going to control, so going to affect its skills in combat. Finally, among the modes and online features, we will have both ranked and casual matches, global leaderboards, the online lobby, and the return of the spectator mode. Capcom has also released the first gameplay trailer for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, showing a frantic battle between Ryu and Mega Man (Mega Man X version) and the team formed by Iron Man and Captain Marvel.
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will be released in 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Capcom also announced that from today Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is available on PlayStation 4.
