New rumor emerges for Marvel vs. Capcom 4: after the rumor emerging over the weekend, even now Polygon confirms the existence of the game, after talking to some unspecified sources but believed to be reliable.

According to the report, Capcom will display this title in PlayStation Experience 2016, during the Capcom Cup of Street Fighter V which will be held in the event. This is consistent with previous rumors, but the site also shared some new data.

Apparently, Marvel vs. Capcom 4 will include many heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe of the recent decade, so it would be more likely to check characters from The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy to that of X-Men. Specifically, Polygon mentioned that Ant-Man and Groot will appear in this issue, while Wolverine and Magneto, both fighters emblematic of the series will be absent.

Marvel vs. Capcom 4 could also arrive on the PlayStation 4 console as an exclusive title or with exclusive time with possible expansions published in advance.

In June, Vice President of Marvel Games, Jay Ong said the company wanted to please the fans; however, he added that at that time he could not say more about it. Meanwhile, Capcom said it would not comment regarding rumors or speculation.
