Marvel Employee Hints Spider-Man PS4 Release Date in October 2018
There are numerous rumors about the likely release of Spider-Man, the new superhero game of Insomniac Games. The last one suggested that the game could come out in September, but still, nothing was confirmed.
Insomniac Games has already confirmed that the new Spider-Man for PS4 will be released by 2018, but a further clue on the launch period has arrived in the last days by a Marvel employee: could the game make its debut in October?
“If the Spider-Man game and Red Dead come out near each other, I’m pretty sure I’m going to lose my job,” writes Stephen Wacker, an employee at Marvel, on his Twitter profile, perhaps throwing a veiled clue to the release of the new game by Insomniac Games.
The release date of Red Dead Redemption 2, in fact, was set for October 26 just a few days ago, when Marvel employee Stephen Wacker wanted to make his remark on the Spider-Man launch window. Maybe Wacker wanted to suggest that the title of Insomniac Games will be released during the same period of Red Dead Redemption 2, maybe in the month of October?
Recall also that a few days ago a Swedish retailer had set the release date of Spider-Man to September 28, the launch window that would still be compatible with the possible clue launched by Wacker. At this point, all that remains is to wait for further details from the developers.
