The official system requirements for The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan, a new horror title from the creators of Until Dawn, appeared on Steam. Interestingly, the production requires as much as 80 GB of free space on the hard disk.

On the Steam platform, the official system requirements of the new game by Until Dawn – The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan appeared. What is striking is the size of the production, because the title requires up to 80 GB of free space on the hard disk.

Recall that Man of Medan will start the series of The Dark Pictures Anthology, in which each subsequent edition is an independent story in a horror climate. Similarly to the previous game of the studio, we can expect a film narration and audiovisual setting.

Fortunately, it seems that the developers have wisely approached the topic of hardware requirements. Most players should run the game with minimal settings without any problem. Interestingly, there is no information on Denuvo anti-piracy security anywhere on the Valve platform. This does not mean, of course, that we will not experience such, but if it really was, players would definitely be happy. Take a look at the following PC system requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Operating system: Windows 7 (64-bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-3470 / AMD FX-8350
  • RAM memory: 8 GB
  • Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 / AMD Radeon HD 7870
  • DirectX version : 11
  • Disk space: 80 GB free space

Recommended Requirements:

  • Operating system: Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • RAM memory: 8 GB
  • Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 / AMD Radeon RX 580
  • DirectX version: 11
  • Disk space: 80 GB free space

It is also worth noting that The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan will have two multiplayer modes. The first of them will be Movie Night Mode, a variation on the theme of the “couch” game, in which each player chooses the character and takes control over it when the action is focused on it. The second mode is Shared Story Mode, where two people will play online and make important decisions from the point of view of the plot.

The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan will release on August 30 this year. The game will be released on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The title is now available for pre-release sale.
