Seeing the face of Mads Mikkelsen in the second trailer of Death Stranding aroused great enthusiasm in fans of the studio of Kojima Productions, but certainly, the opportunity to take part in this project was a nice surprise for the actor himself, who wanted to talk about it in an interview.
Speaking to BMD, in fact, the actor explained how this project had hit him, since the first trailer with Norman Reedus, while not being himself a player. Mikkelsen cannot reveal any details about the plot, but confirmed that with Death Stranding, Kojima has intension to create something totally new, and has called the history “intricate”.
Speaking of the Japanese game designer and his creative ability, he added: “Kojima is a very brilliant man. I mean … the stuff he told me? I only understood some of it.” The actor also stated that his work for the game is only made up of motion capture sessions, and nothing else.
Those who follow Kojima, will surely see his passion for the world of cinema and directing, so these words are entirely consistent with the trends of the game designer.
