In the press release to announce the bonus chapter of Life is Strange: Before the Storm, Square Enix took the opportunity to give the first details about the sequel to Life is Strange, revealing that it will be a new story that will be revealed in the coming months.
“After following their journeys for the last few years, it’s time to fondly wave farewell to Max and Chloe,” said Square Enix External Studios brand Vice President Jon Brooke. “The torch is being passed back to Michel Koch and Raoul Barbet‘s team at Dontnod Entertainment, the creators of the original game who’ve been solely dedicated to creating the next Life is Strange for the past two years. We look forward to sharing an exciting new story and characters in the coming months.”
According to the words of the company, it seems that the sequel to Life is Strange will put aside the story of Max and Chloe. It is not clear if the new title will take place in Arcadia Bay, so we will have to wait for more information.
