Ludens, the mascot of Kojima Productions, is now available to all fans of Hideo Kojima for $1999 USD.

Ludens, the mascot and first creation of Kojima since leaving Konami, can be yours with a scale of 1:2 for just $1,999.

This is a statue to scale manufactured by the company of high-range collectables Sideshow Collectibles and Prime 1 Studio. Ludens is priced at $1999 USD and will begin shipping between January and March 2018. The statue, which will be sent in early 2018, is just one of the many physical versions of Ludens since Kojima Productions has also partnered with toy manufacturers Good Smile Company and 1000 Toys for versions of this character/mascot of good quality but rather more affordable.

Among the details, we can see that the Ludens statue measures 1 meter with 60 centimeters, includes a base, a flag and has LED lighting on its helmet. In addition, it will be limited to 150 units and will be autographed by Hideo Kojima.

In June this year, the mascot of Kojima Productions was presented. Ludens is designed by a former collaborator of Kojima, we refer to the artist Yoji Shinkawa. Some users mention that Ludens is based on Norman Reedus, although there is nothing clear about it.

In related information, Hideo Kojima showed a further advance of Death Stranding in the Game Awards 2016. In this latest title of Hideo Kojima we will find out Guillermo del Toro and Mads Mikkelsen participating in this project.
