Koei Tecmo has announced that Berserk (working title) will also be released in Europe. The publication of the title is scheduled for the autumn of 2016, on PS4. The PC and PlayStation Vita versions will be distributed digitally.

Koei Tecmo president Hisashi Koinuma said, “We are finally able to unveil our collaboration between Berserk and the Warriors series. In this game, players can experience and immerse themselves into the world of Berserk as the main character Guts, wielding his powerful weapon Dragon Slayer mercilessly slashing enemies in half, and through the massive story beginning with the Golden Age arc. The game content will be enjoyable even to those who don’t normally play games, so we hope all fans of Berserk will give this game a go. Become a member of Guts and his group, and experience the exhilaration of the most lethal Warriors game within the intense world of Berserk.”

In Europe, as in America, the game will feature a version of PlayStation 4, an issue only for digital download for PS Vita and adaptation to PC to be distributed through Steam.

The title is in development at the Omega Force studio, so you can bet on the gameplay style that has characterized their sagas, such as Dynasty Warriors.

On this occasion they will provide an action adventure with massive battles, with the characteristic elements of the original work, narrating the trip of Guts and presenting visceral issues of human nature.
