Kingdom Hearts III Will Include Various Retro Mini-Games

Square Enix released a new trailer for its highly anticipated RPG.

Kingdom Hearts III

Several weeks have passed without news of Kingdom Hearts III, but fortunately, Square Enix surprised us with a new trailer of its title. The video is quite short; however, it reveals some of the extra content that we can enjoy in the RPG, especially when we want to rest a bit from its main story.

Kingdom Hearts III will allow us to enjoy a great diversity of retro mini-games since Sora will have a console from where we will have access to titles like The Barnyard Battle, The Karnival Kid, Giantland and Musical Farmer.

The games are inspired by classic cartoons of Disney and titles that were common in 1980. Square Enix revealed this addition to a special event held recently in Anaheim, California.

According to the details, it is expected that Kingdom Hearts III includes about 20 mini-games of this style, which will be ideal for you to relax after a long session of intense fighting.

Unfortunately, the trailer does not give more clues about this feature, so we’ll have to wait to see a complete preview. The largest team at Square Enix is the one that works on the title. Despite this, there is still no exact date for its debut, but we know that it will arrive sometime this year.

Square Enix recently introduced the world of Monsters Inc, where you will fight alongside old acquaintances. On the other hand, Tetsuya Nomura, the director of the game, did not rule out its possible arrival on Nintendo Switch.

Kingdom Hearts III will arrive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2018. Without further ado, I leave the video below:
