Unlike Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts 3 could come out first in Japan and then the rest of the world. Tetsuya Nomura has explained in an interview to the microphones of Famitsu.
In an interview with the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu the game director, Tetsuya Nomura, has confirmed that Kingdom Hearts 3 could appear somewhat earlier in Japan than the rest of the world. How much earlier Japanese fans could be supplied the game, is not yet clear.
A launch slightly diluted worldwide, probably to give greater scope to the workers of the game translated into all the languages of Western markets.
On the same occasion Nomura also pointed out that Birth by Sleep 0.2: A Fragmentary Passage is not a content cut from the third episode of the series, but something on which he wanted to work for a long time.
Birth by Sleep 0.2 therefore consists partly of content that has been actually made for Kingdom Hearts III, and did not make it into the game. But it is not just a recycling because Nomura wanted more backstory for Kingdom Hearts 3 to tell without lowering the speed of the game, which is why he developed the intermediate episode also easily.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is expected in the course of 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One. More details about the production will come during the winter.
