Kingdom Hearts 3 for Nintendo Switch and PC “Possible”, Director Says

In an interview published on the pages of Famitsu, Tetsuya Nomura revealed that Kingdom Hearts 3 could come out on other platforms in the future, including Nintendo Switch, platform explicitly quoted by the producer.
In that sense, the director of Kingdom Hearts 3, Tetsuya Nomura said the following in the interview: “Other hardware is not limited to the Nintendo switch, and we will consider all of them after the release of the PS4 and Xbox
Nomura does not mention other platforms in addition to Switch, but we can assume that Square Enix has also considered the arrival of the game on PC, and probably on next-gen consoles like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett, although we reiterate that it is only our speculations, these consoles have never been nominated directly by Tetsuya Nomura.
Kingdom Hearts 3 was a huge commercial success with over 5 million copies distributed in the first week and the title had an extremely positive evaluation from the international press, among which the 39/40 awarded by Famitsu stands out.
The possibility to see Kingdom Hearts 3 on other platforms is not so remote, but we must consider that it would be a difficult porting that would involve a good part of the team of Square Enix. However, nothing is lost.
