Thus, those who buy a digital copy of Killer Instinct: Definitive Edition will automatically receive the version for Xbox One and Windows 10. According to Microsoft, this rule also applies to those who previously bought the digital version of the title for console.

Killer Instinct: Definitive Edition, being a title of Xbox Play Anywhere, allows you to access all your progress no matter what platform you are playing it. It also has support for cross-play, so players of Windows 10 and Xbox One can play together without problems.

If you are interested, you should know that Killer Instinct: Definitive Edition is available on the Windows 10 Store for $39.99 and requires about 45 GB hard drive space.

The studio also launched The Legend of Thunder suit free of charge forthcoming on 21 December. This is a redesign of the character to do so, according to Microsoft, “more culturally appropriate”.

Finally, the company showed that in 2017 new surprises for fans of Killer Instinct will come, so we will have to wait for more details.
