Josef Fares: A Way Out on Nintendo Switch Is Not Excluded

A Way Out will debut in early 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. So far, Hazelight Studios has not said anything about its possible arrival on Nintendo Switch. It is likely that more than one user of the Nintendo console is interested in this multiplayer experience, for that reason, Josef Fares spoke recently about this possibility.
For starters, the head of the game said that, so far, they have not had the opportunity to work with Switch. Also, Josef Fares indicated that A Way Out is in charge of a small development team, so at this time it is always a problem for them. However, Fares added that he does not close the doors of bringing A Way Out to Nintendo Switch.
“I’m not saying it’s not going to happen. But it’s just that we are a small team and we’re doing everything in-house, which makes it very hard for us to have the time… but I’m not saying it will never happen,” he said during an interview with GamingBolt.
In addition, Fares talked about the characteristics of the game and if they develop a version for the console: “First of all, this is a third person game, which means that you need to control the camera… and on the Switch, if you want to play it on the Joycons, you can’t have the camera controls, because the Switch only has one stick on each controller,” added Fares.
Finally, the creative was questioned about whether there will be a version of the game on Switch after its arrival on the other platforms. Fares assured that it could happen if they have time, but that he prefers not to commit.
A Way Out will arrive at the aforementioned systems on March 22nd. Recently, Fares clarified his comments about the Oscar awards.
Do you think the title will debut later on the new Nintendo console?
