Jade Empire coming to iOS and Mac

One of the most beloved RPG action game of BioWare is coming to iOS and Mac devices, we refer to Jade Empire, a game released in 2005 for the original Xbox.

Thus, a filtration mentions that this port was created by Aspyr Media, a company that was also responsible for the mobile version of Knights of the Old Republic and Indigo Prophecy. According to a cryptic message of the studio on Twitter, the game could debut this August 18, but not more details were given.

The version of Jade Empire for iOS is based on the special edition for PC, which means that the title will come with extra content, additional weapons and movements that were not available in the Xbox version.

Also, IGN has released a trailer mentioning that the game is now available, however, this has not happened, so we’ll have to keep waiting.

Jade Empire debuted in 2005 for Xbox, right in the last year of life of this system. Fortunately, Microsoft managed to bring this game to Xbox 360 through backward compatibility. Later, the title came to PC.
