Despite being scheduled a panel dedicated to Marvel games, Insomniac Games will not bring new material of Spider-Man at Comic-Con in San Diego, scheduled for July 20 to 23.

A new gameplay video was shown in June at E3 2017 in Los Angeles and a behind-the-scenes video was also broadcasted last weekend at the Disney D23, understandable, therefore, the company has no news to show at the San Diego show.

Most were probably still pretty impressed by Insomniac Games demonstration of Spider-Man for Sony’s E3 press conference, but critical voices were heard yet about the excessive Quick Time Events.

The exclusive title of PS4 was recently shown in a behind-the-scenes during the past D23 Expo 2017, an event which also hosted Star Wars Battlefront II and Kingdom Hearts III, so it is understandable that the company does not have more news to announce at the next show.

Spider-Man is expected on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro in the course of 2018, the release date has not yet been revealed, the publisher has repeatedly merely confirmed its release in the coming year. The president of Sony Interactive Entertainment America (SIEA) Shawn Layden has confirmed that the game will come in the first half of next year.
