Insomniac Games Celebrates Sony Acquisition With Gifts, Employees Get Free PS4 Pro & Game Copies

Exactly two months have passed since Sony acquired Marvel’s Spider-Man developer Insomniac Games, but it seems the Burbank campus team has just celebrated the purchase recently. The studio organized a special team lunch for all employees, with famous personalities like Cerny and Shuhei Yoshida from PlayStation.
Thank you @yosp! It was fantastic having you and the team join us for such a special day. We are indeed family! https://t.co/Q48g2VFbIf

After devoting a moment of silence to Craig Goodman, one of the artists who recently died of brain cancer, Insomniac Games CEO Ted Price had some quick words to share with his co-workers. Shu Yoshida then continued discussing Spyro the dragon and even delivering PS4 Pro’s and a copy of the Marvel Spider-Man Game of the Year Edition to all attendees for free.
Now every @insomniacgames employee is getting a PS4 Pro and copy of the GOTY Edition of our game! pic.twitter.com/SQL99cdLGc

We assume that the party will continue well into the night, and the team will return on Monday to continue their work on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Or maybe even a new Ratchet and Clank game. Which would you rather have first on PS5? Tell us in the comments below.
