There is so much anticipation for the exclusive PS4 game of Spider-Man, currently under development at Insomniac Games. Now, the community manager of Insomniac Games, James Stevenson, confirmed that the release of Spider-Man is scheduled for 2018, as announced at the last E3 and during other events.
Stevenson does know that the development is progressing well and the launch of the game on PS4 is confirmed for the current year, although the studio can not yet reveal the release date. According to some rumors, the game should arrive during the first half of the year, probably during the late spring or early summer.
The title is already playable from start to finish and the project director has already done three different playtests, the finishing phase will continue in any case in the next months, to make sure that everything works best for the launch of the game.
Sony intends to make 2018 a great year for PS4 and for that it wants to offer its users a lot of exclusive games. Among the most anticipated are the new God of War, Days Gone and the Spider-Man of Insomniac Games and now, the company has reaffirmed that Spider-Man will be launched this year.
The game will be part of the catalog of PS4 exclusive games of 2018, as long as the title doesn’t suffer any unexpected delay in its launch.
