Good news for gamers of mobile titles, as Injustice 2 will receive a version for smartphones and tablets, according to creative director of Netherrealm Studios, Ed Boon, during San Diego Comic-Con.
“There’s definitely going to be an Injustice mobile 2 app as well,” Boon said for a stream by IGN. In addition, the creative director also said it was “pretty likely” Injustice 2 has a port for PC, but revealed no release date or further details.
Today, also during San Diego Comic-Con, Netherrealm released a new trailer to present Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle, who will attend Injustice 2. And if that was not enough, there will be a comic book that will serve as prequel of the fighting title.
The new game in development by award-winning Netherrealm Studios, has a large roster of superheroes and super bad villains of DC and allows players to build and strengthen the final version of their favorite DC characters.
Injustice 2 continues the epic and cinematic story of Injustice: Gods Among Us with Batman and his allies working to put together the pieces of society fighting against those who would restore the Superman regime.
Injustice 2 delivers the ultimate gaming experience of combat signed by DC further expanding the features of the first chapter. Each battle takes us to a game in which players can customize the famous DC characters with unique and powerful “gear” that you can gain during the game. For the first time you can control the appearance of their characters, their way of fighting and their development in different game modes.
Injustice 2 will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017.
