As previously revealed, Injustice 2 will have characters that can only be acquired through DLC packages, and presented by the developer NetherRealm and Warner Bros. The first 3 characters that will be part of Fighter Pack 1 are made known now.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today revealed a new trailer showing the first three DLC characters of Injustice 2: Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero.
In a small trailer it was announced that the fighters will be Sub-Zero, Red Hood and Starfire, all of them playable if you acquire the first DLC package that you will be receiving in the game after its release.
For now, a price for that pack has not been confirmed, but we also know that these characters will be part of the Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition, the special version of the game that will cost $100 USD. They will also be present in the Digital Deluxe Edition, priced at $80 USD.
Neither has been shared by the developer when Fighter Pack 1 and subsequent games will be arriving, but it is known that the DLC fighters will not be available on day one of the game’s debut.
Injustice 2 is scheduled to debut for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 16, while the last characters that have been revealed are Joker, Darkseid and Brainiac.
Injustice 2, being developed by Netherrealm Studios, features an impressive selection of superheroes and supervillains of DC and allows players to build and strengthen the final version of their favorite DC characters.
