Injustice 2 confirmed to release on May 2017

NetherRealm has been characterized as a studio that likes to keep things secret and reveal them mysteriously. It seems that with Injustice 2 it will not be different, because yesterday they have announced what could be the release date of this title.

Ed Boon published a mysterious tweet with a date: May 16, 2017. Apparently, it is announced to be the release date of Injustice 2, which was later confirmed.

In a recent publication on Twitter, Ed Boon, director of the studio, published a picture with the caption “i2.05.16.17”. Clearly, “i2” means Injustice 2, while the rest is a US format date: May 16, 2017.

For some time, Netherrealm has not confirmed whether this will be the release date of Injustice 2 or if that day they intended to share more information about the game. Fortunately, A Netherrealm spokesman confirmed about the published tweet that Ed Boon has indeed revealed the release date of Injustice 2. So, you’ll find the fighting game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from May 16, 2017, are you excited about it?

Injustice 2 was revealed officially few days before E3 2016. The fighting game is on its way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and will feature characters like Deadshot, Batman, Blue Beetle, Gorilla Grodd, Harley Quinn, Superman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman and more.

From what we have seen, Injustice 2 will present several differences to the first installment of the series. The above thanks to its equipment system, with which you can equip the characters with different objects that will change their attributes.
